RT’s wetland team provided critical support in resolving a property line dispute for a client preparing to sell a portion of their land. A previously completed subdivision map indicated the presence of wetlands on an adjacent parcel, prompting the local municipality to require a full wetland delineation of the client’s 15-acre property before approving the sale. RT conducted a comprehensive delineation in accordance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers protocols, evaluating hydrology, vegetation, and soil indicators to determine the presence and extent of wetlands. Multiple wetland areas were identified along stream banks and the edges of an on-site pond. RT also coordinated with the client’s civil engineers and land surveyors to ensure that all wetland boundaries were accurately depicted on the site plans. The finalized delineation report satisfied municipal requirements, allowing the sale to move forward.
